About Migrate Outdoors

" I do not hunt for the joy of killing but for the joy of living, and for the inexpressible pleasure of mingling my life, however briefly, with that of a wild creature I respect, admire and value."
                             -John Madson

Hello. My name is Michael and I founded Migrate Outdoors. My passion for hunting waterfowl sprouted early on in my childhood, and truly grew roots later on in adulthood.  After 8 years of service in the Marines, I found it difficult redefining myself in life as a civilian. I was able to find solace reverting back to the one environment I was sure of, my marsh. It was in this space that I was able to re-find myself, my calling and my reason for being. Waterfowl.  I am also fortunate enough to call myself a father of five, all of whom have discovered parts of themselves in hunting or fishing.  My wife, and best friend has supported me and shared in passion of the great outdoors - getting out and chasing some ducks or fish. I am thankful for them each and every day and know that without them Migrate Outdoors would not have come to fruition. All in all, I'm just your average public land hunter - I live for and love the birds and the experience. I have been hunting for over 20 years and I plan to hunt another 50. Migrate Outdoors keeps me close to the birds, even once the season has passed. I hope to give my customers the opportunity to run my calls, to bring the birds and to continue to enjoy the hunt and the great outdoors.

Migrate Outdoors Mission

I am a Veteran, and I am a waterfowl hunter. My vision for Migrate Outdoors is to see these two communities that define me, thrive. My purpose here at Migrate Outdoors is to give back to the Hunter, the Veteran and to assist in conservation efforts to help preserve the great outdoors that we call our home. Without it we would not have the opportunity to do what we love. I hope that you come to see that it is not just My Great Outdoors, but yours too.
